Zack Snyder’s Justice League Extras: Batman vs Darth Vader (death battle): the one where he wins. -pretend it’s a temporary universe crossover Kevin Conroy as an alternate Batman in the live action crisis episode.

*In real life, a cape is useless. In fiction it’s more than a cape. Why are we talking about this?*

I will skip this series, it is not my cup of tea. These are weird choices, but I assume it will be interesting

If Keaton had the Dark Knight trilogy, this would all be a moot point. I believe he would have nailed it. That being said, I think Val Kilmer's portrayal was the most balanced, in my opinion. He was physical when he needed to be, he showed the turmoil that Bruce Wayne continued to endure walking in both personas. He also was the most detective of the live action portrayals with him solving the riddles.

This is all opinionated based on different types of Batman comics and the fans view.

I am willing to give this cast a chance and who knows they surprise us. Still I would have give Troy Baker the role as Batman like he did in he telltale games.

I think we are too harsh on any new voice actor for Batman because of Kevin.. We need to allow ourselves to hear a different range of voice for a change, and give Hamish a fair chance.

Why woukd you ever go anywhere other than that first issue of Detective Comics as for physicality? Thats the one all others are based on....and he looks like a regular tallish dude.

I mean realism wise...yall know thay guy from the 40s is what real life batman would be like.

Batman’s cape is basically a Kevlar weighted blanket. It would hurt like a mf if you bunched it up and used it to grapple or beat someone with it. It weighs like 20 pounds and Batman is stronger than Olympic athletes so he would easily swing it around.

I really love all movies, all Batman. Every actor did it in different ways. We can unite each Batman and forming a perfect Batman. Actually, I still need to appreciate more The Batman with Pattinson... Anyway, Keaton is the first and most memorable, I think. Because Keaton showed to the world how to be a Batman; as Bruce Wayne, Keaton was a little bit shy and tiny, but he changed when he was using the Batsuit and rocked all. Chris Bale was an amazing Batman and Bruce Wayne as playboy and he had so luck with Nolan's direction and great actors together. Ben Affleck was a strong Batman and I like it. I think he did a great job too with his charming Playboy Wayne style. Well, Val Kilmer and George Clooney did movies for toys industry. That was the intention of that time, make Batman movies for kids. So the Batman movies were so colorful and funny. But I like Clooney interpretation too, especially the relationship between Bruce Wayne and Alfred. Batman is special being interpreted by any actor. Each one will give different meanings for Bruce Wayne and for Batman. My favorites are Keaton, Bale, Affleck and Clooney. Yes, I like Clooney because I remember my childhood watching Batman in the afternoon on television. I cried in his scene with Alfred 😢. I love Batman!!! Thank you

I’m glad that you said “for me” before announcing your decision. While I personally give HL a close second place, in my opinion he didn’t laugh nearly enough. I get that he had to be dark to blend well with Bale’s portrayal of BM but, the king of Jokers, Jack Nicholson, was homicidally dark while being disturbingly full of mirth! In my humble layman’s opinion, Jack Nicholson was/is the King of Jokers. 🎤

You left out a big part of accurate portrayal, one that weighs against both Keaton (my choice) and Affleck. The no killing rule, both versions of this character clearly violate that rule.

Batman actually has the most functional cape of all caped characters. As opposed to the vanity cape rocked by superman

I like ben affleck portrayal because i prefer the more brutal batman. The one who breaks bones and makes sure you dont get up. To me thats more realistic...i feel with all the goons trying to kill batman he would eventually have to kill or if not kill break bones or watever it takes to show you dont mess with him. I also prefer the more beefed up older more experience version of batman.

Depends which one? 1930s was a copy of The Shadow. Even used one of his adventures in Case of the Chemical Syndicate. 1940s was adventurer/detective like Lupin or Raffles in their later careers. 1950s was a walk-thru to get past the censors. 1960s was the revolution where comic books let artists tell serious stories in between the cartoony adventures. 1970s he branched out, moved out of Wayne Manor and wore a turtleneck. 1980s to 1990s slid down to the Iron Age in comics where they tried to replace him but didn't succeed. 2000s had Crisis after Crisis.

Does anyone ever truly pay attention to movies?! If Keaton Batman isn’t a good detective, how did he figure out how joker was poisoning Gotham?! Kevin Conroy’s Batman did the same thing figuring that Batman fan would remember that!!!

Just a guess since I haven’t watched the video yet and I don’t have access to much Batman content: He uses it to safely get down from buildings and to blend into his surroundings. Or he just wants to be edgy either is possible 😭

batman is the only hero i think can get away with a cape. most of the time the same stuff that keeps it rigid for gliding also keeps it out of his way. I guess with superman's powers he might be ok. but everyone else it just doesn't help.

I love how Pattinson’s Batman is so so angry. He is dark and truly embraces it. The Batman truly is like the Zodiac, Saw, and Se7en. Batman has to become as dark as his opponent to ultimately realize how he needs to be different if he is going to make a difference. I loved it.

Batman really the only one that needs a cape, as it allows him to glide and decend down slowly. It's his bulletproof tool as well.

Pattinson would be perfect for a Damian Wayne Batman film...but surelly not for Bruce, eve not mentally....he was unluck to be chosen to act a film already "old" when it was thought...! The very best would be a fusion between Bale version and Affleck's one (phisically he's just perfect and even the way he act is pretty cool: an aged and experienced Bat in the end)
